Jacobs Medical Center

CJA’s work at the Jacobs Medical Center included installation of 37,648 sf of design build soldier pile tieback and soil nail shoring. Some of the shoring was required to conform to OSHPD specifications, and other parts of the shoring system were held to CBC 2007 standards only.  In addition to overcoming the challenges of the shoring system itself, which included threading anchors through “No Drill Zones”, untangling the requirements contained in each of the governing documents was paramount to the project success.
