George Burrough is recognized for his expertise in shoring, where he integrates his formal education, his project management experience and his dynamic problem solving skills.
George joined Condon-Johnson as District Manager when the company opened its San Diego office in 1999. George has extensive experience in design-build, deep foundation, earth support (both permanent and temporary) and slope stabilization projects.
George has estimated and managed major projects – seawalls, temporary earth retaining structures, demolition and excavation, permanent shotcrete retaining walls, and drilled foundations – for many public and private sector clients, including the United States Navy, CALTRANS and Bosa Developments.
A licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California, George has been both the Engineer of Record and Supervisor on the design of numerous earth retention projects.
Prior to joining Condon-Johnson, George worked for Wagner Construction Co., rising from Project Engineer to District Manager within four years. George received a BSCE in 1995 at San Diego State University.
